Akklamation is a distinguished Melodic/Black Thrash Metal Band that was formed in 2005 by brothers Brian Bilagody and Michael Begay. Their musical journey was later enriched by the addition of Devon and Skyler Bilagody; sons of Brian Bilagody. As one of the rare extreme metal acts emerging from Northern Arizona, Akklamation proudly represents the region, with their base of operations situated in Tuba City, Arizona, along the western fringes of the Navajo Nation.
Akklamation has invested significant time and effort into meticulously crafting a unique sound that distinctly separates them from the local music landscape. Influenced by the timeless essence of classic metal and the powerful guitar-driven styles prevalent in the 1980s and late 1990s, Akklamation expertly balances technical skill with unrelenting brutality. Their relentless pursuit of artistic evolution drives them to continuously push the limits and redefine the expectations associated with contemporary metal music. Through their innovative approach, they aim to not only stand out but also to contribute meaningfully to the ever-evolving genre of extreme metal.
